Basic Things Every Road Tripper Must Avoid

Are you bored with the dreadful city life and are planning to hit the road anytime soon to savor scenic landscapes and awe-inspiring nature
grandeur…Before you pack your things and daydream the drive of your life, here are a few things every road-tripper must avoid when driving long distances:
Using Cellphones While Driving
Just like drunk driving, most states (and some countries) ban the use of cellular phones while driving for the hazard it poses that constitutes a terrible threat to the safety not just of the person behind-the-wheel but also to its passengers and innocent pedestrians.
Emergency Shoulders
“Emergency shoulders” are obviously for emergencies only so when pulling-over is unavoidable, make sure that you steer your vehicle off the road where it’s safe.
Leaving Valuables in the Car
You are advised to stop leaving valuables inside your car or if totally impossible, at least try to hide them. Leaving them visible from outside will lure auto-burglars. Your complacent attitude attract and provide opportunity for even the younger ones to become criminals.
Last-Minute Refueling
Make sure you gas up before hitting the road because when traveling a unfamiliar road, you will never the know the next gas station.
When thinking about a new or used vehicle, give the auto dealers in the Ventura Auto Center a chance to get you into the car you want. Located just off the 101 freeway in Ventura, take the Johnson Drive exit and follow the signs to the Ventura Auto Center.
